Friends, I’m resting and a couple days out of surgery

We I had no idea how this surgery would actually go. Mandy brought me to the hospital on Monday morning at 5:30 in the morning. The team of surgeons and doctors got started about 7:30am.

Man, they cut on me for 11 hours. I got out about 7:30pm but I had no awareness until about 3:00am on Tuesday. I didn’t really become myself again until today.

So here’s how things rest. They didn’t wire my jaws together. I do have a feeding tube probably until tomorrow. I can talk but will talk much better when the swelling goes down and the feeding tube is pulled.

They pulled half my bottom teeth. the biggest healing that I’ll have to face is actually my face healing. It won’t be perfect in a month but a lot better.

Then I want the churches to know that I’ll be able to afford to get all my missing teeth replaced! Now I only feel like talking to close friends and family but would love visits from anyone if you can handle the swelling know I love and am thankful for all of you..
